Associate Professor Maria Antonietta Tosches has been elected Associate Member of the European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO).
EMBO is composed of more than 2,100 leading researchers and the organization "promotes excellence in the life sciences in Europe and beyond. The major goals of the organization are to support talented researchers at all stages of their careers, stimulate the exchange of scientific information, and help build a research environment where scientists can achieve their best work... Election as a member recognizes a scientist's research excellence and outstanding achievements. Membership is a lifelong honour. 92 EMBO Members and Associate Members are or were Nobel Laureates."
