Title: The structure and function of the peripheral nervous system

Abstract: Peripheral neural circuits are critical for multiple critical biological processes ranging from pain to physiological organ function. The Sharma lab studies how peripheral neurons develop, function, and ultimately relay signals from peripheral organs to the brain.
