Biography
I was born and grew up in Rome, Italy. For my bachelor's degree, I headed to Boston, where I earned a BS from Northeastern University in Molecular Biology. While there, I had the amazing opportunity to research at Boston Children's Hospital, focusing on understanding the E/I imbalance in autism spectrum disorders.
After finishing my bachelor's, I pursued a master's in Neuroscience at ETH Zurich. During this time, I explored chromatin dynamics in the activation of immediate early genes in the brain cells of mice exposed to different levels of stress.
While at Columbia, I'm excited to dig into new biology questions.
