Research Description
From North Carolina, I studied Biological Sciences with a concentration in Human Biology at North Carolina State University. For the past few years I was working as a Lab Research Analyst at the Duke Human Vaccine Institute in the Division of Structural Biology led by Dr. Priyamvada Acharya. My research focused on HIV and SARS, specifically the Envelope and Spike proteins, and how structure can reveal molecular mechanisms that can be manipulated for the benefit of human health. I look forward to making discoveries utilizing structural biology here at Columbia.
