Full Research Description
Born and bred in Los Angeles, I graduated from UCLA in 2015 with a B.S. in Chemistry. My research background is in exploring the tumor microenvironment of advanced-stage cancer patients in the context of anti-PD1 therapy (Keytruda/Pembrolizumab). My work has focused on predicting response to cancer immunotherapies and elucidating how the phenotype of tumor cells evolve over the course of treatment.
My current interest is in exploring conserved processes in the human immune system that lead to antigen recognition and downstream response in the context of cancer, auto-immune disorders and other life-threating disorders.
In my free time, I love listening to early 1900’s big band music, cooking and taking landscape photographs.
