Full Research Description
I am from Vermont and Long Island, and as an undergraduate, I studied biology at Barnard College. During my time at Barnard I had the privilege of studying stem cell precursor development in the Kalderon Lab. After graduation, I worked in science communication as well as a lab technician studying infections in honey bees in the Snow Lab at Barnard. I look forward to pursuing the many mysteries of cell communication and development during my time at Columbia.
I am also a graphic designer, and enjoy hiking and running.
