Full Research Description
Born and brought up in Bangalore, India, I graduated with an Integrated BS-MS degree from IISER Thiruvananthapuram, with a Biology major and Chemistry minor. During my time at IISER, I primarily worked on understanding mechanisms involved in the evolution of genome organization and mutagenesis. At Columbia, I hope to use a mix of computational and experimental approaches to answer questions in evolutionary genomics. Outside of research, I enjoy singing, reading fiction, and cooking.
