Title: Deconstructing p53 Pathways in Developmental Syndromes and Cancer Suppression
Abstract: In our work, we strive to deconstruct the mechanisms through which the p53 transcription factor suppresses cancer. We use integrated genetic, genomic, cell biological and biochemical approaches to define the transcriptional networks through which p53 acts. A detailed understanding of the pathways regulated by p53 is critical for ultimately developing the best strategies to target p53 in cancer.
